At present, Craft Makr’s paid digital products are sold through third-party marketplaces such as Etsy and Ravelry rather than directly through www.craftmakr.com.
When you purchase a Craft Makr product through a third-party marketplace:
- The purchase transaction is processed by that marketplace.
- Payment is handled through the marketplace’s payment system.
- Delivery or download of the digital file is generally handled by the marketplace.
- The marketplace’s own terms, policies, and applicable consumer protections also apply to the transaction.
Craft Makr may introduce direct sales through www.craftmakr.com in the future. If that occurs, additional purchase, payment, delivery, refund, and licensing terms may apply.
Digital Product Refunds
Because Craft Makr’s products are digital products, they are generally considered final sale once purchased or made available for download.
Returns, exchanges, and cancellations are generally not accepted.
However, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
If you experience a genuine problem, such as:
- A file that cannot be accessed or downloaded
- A file that is materially defective
- A file that is materially different from its description
- An incorrect file being delivered
please contact the marketplace through which you purchased the product and/or contact Craft Makr at hello@craftmaker.com.
Where appropriate, Craft Makr may provide a replacement file or another reasonable resolution.
Digital Product License
When you purchase or lawfully obtain a Craft Makr digital product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the digital material for the purposes permitted by these Terms.
Unless a particular product states otherwise, you may:
- Download and retain the digital file for your personal use.
- Print a reasonable number of copies for your own use.
- Use the instructions, pattern, or template to make finished physical items.
- Give finished handmade items you make as gifts.
- Make a limited number of finished physical items for small-scale sale, subject to the restrictions below.
You may not:
- Resell the PDF or digital file.
- Give the digital file away to another person.
- Upload the digital file to a website, cloud-sharing service, file-sharing platform, group, forum, social-media post, or other public or private repository for others to access.
- Share your purchased download with friends, family, customers, students, or other third parties.
- Reproduce or distribute the pattern, instructions, templates, or other digital content separately from the finished physical item.
- Sell or sublicense the pattern, instructions, template, or digital file.
- Use Craft Makr’s instructions to create another downloadable pattern, tutorial, course, kit, or instructional product.
- Copy substantial portions of Craft Makr’s instructions into another publication or product.
- Claim Craft Makr’s original instructions, patterns, photographs, or other Content as your own.
Making and Selling Finished Items
Craft Makr may permit customers to make and sell a limited number of finished physical items based on Craft Makr projects.
This permission applies to the finished physical item, not to the underlying digital instructions, pattern, template, or Content.
You may not use a Craft Makr pattern or tutorial as the basis for mass production, manufacturing, wholesale production, commercial licensing, or an ongoing large-scale production operation without written permission from Craft Makr.
A particular Craft Makr product may contain additional restrictions. Where such restrictions exist, the product-specific terms will control.

Copyright and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, Craft Makr owns or has appropriate rights to the original Content it publishes, including its original:

- Product designs and presentations
- Digital files
Craft Makr’s Content is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

- Creating competing AI-generated or AI-assisted craft guides derived from Craft Makr Content
- Reproducing Craft Makr patterns, templates, or instructions through automated systems
- Circumventing technical measures used to protect Website Content
This restriction does not prevent lawful uses of information that are independently permitted under applicable law.
